The site still worked, technically. It was also years out of date, not responsive, and owned by a developer he was no longer in contact with. That had left him locked out of the professional email on his own domain.

I rebuilt it in Next.js: responsive, with the colour, theme, contrast and accessibility reworked, and the whole aesthetic brought forward. Then I sorted out the domain and set his email back up, which was the part he'd been told was someone else's problem.
