About

I have been around computers for as long as I can remember. I chose computer engineering because using them already felt natural. What kept me interested was wanting to understand what was happening underneath.

I started with small personal projects, followed by a couple of internships, then client work through a friend's agency. The work became serious quickly. I took over travel platforms built with Laravel and Vue, rebuilt an AI video tool into a production system, and handled the servers and deployment too.

I'm comfortable learning as I go. When I enter an unfamiliar codebase, I read until I understand how it is put together, then work within that structure. I use AI tools heavily because they help me move faster, but the judgment is still mine. I need to understand what the code does, where it can fail, and whether it belongs in the system.

I have used Arch Linux for years and maintain my own Hyprland setup, editor configuration, and small utilities. I genuinely enjoy servers, hosting, domains, and networking. I'm also drawn to embedded systems, C, and assembly because that is where software meets hardware directly. So far that interest has mostly meant Arduino experiments and reading, but I keep coming back to it.

Some of my favorite personal projects started with problems at home. I built a full stack library app from a spreadsheet my younger sister used to track our family's library of books. I also made a Linux utility that shows prayer times, a countdown to the next prayer, and the Hijri date from a keyboard shortcut.

My friends and family say I think more like a computer than a person. I disagree, but I can see why they say it.
